Who we are.

Company President James Swindle has over 36 years experience in the design, fabrication, and installation of structural steel and speciality fabrications required in the construction of pump stations, water flow control structures, and large refining facilities.

Project Engineer Bruce Meyers primary responsibility is shop drawing development and dimensional checks for the numerous structural and pump/mechanical systems associated with pump station projects. Bruce has 37 years of experience in the industry.

Mechanical/Design Engineer Alan Case has over 25 years of experience, 15 of those years spent in the power augmentation of gas turbine power plant industry. He has the skills in CAD necessary to design and develop equipment to meet our customer's needs.

Project Manager Joanie Swindle is responsible for the over-site of project procurement, submittals, and maintaining field installation schedules. She has been with D&J Machinery for 18 years, 5 of those are in the field.

Purchasing Manager Jamie Lester has been with D&J Machinery for over 10 years. She is responsible for ensuring that specified materials are allocated to the appropriate department on a job by job basis.

Who we are looking for.

CNC Machinist

Full time: Monday - Saturday

We are currently looking for someone motivated to work in a growing business with at least 5 years experience in the industry.

Duties include:
- Programming, setting up, loading tools, and running         both lathes and mills.

We are currently using Okuma, Mazak, and Nissan machines. Must speak English.

Professional Engineer

Full time: Monday - Saturday

We are currently seeking a motivated P.E. with a mechanical background to work in a growing local business.

Duties include:
- Knowledge of AutoCad 2D (2005 min)
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, & dimensioning
- Knowledge of submittal packages and bill of materials
- Must be able to complete calculations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Applicant must be licensed with 2-5 years of experience. Applicant must also pass a background check with SFWMD/COE/Airforce Base. Must speak English.

Draftsman

Full time: Monday - Saturday

We are currently seeking a motivated Draftsman with a mechanical background to work in a growing local business.

Duties include:
- Knowledge of AutoCad 2D (2005 min)
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, & dimensioning
- Knowledge of submittal packages and bill of materials
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Applicant must hold a 2-year degree, with 2-5 years of experience preferred. Applicant must also pass a background check with SFWMD/COE/Airforce Base. Must speak English.
